Fries on the Side is usually the same, but we do have different formats that you might want to know more about. Maybe this will answer some questions you have from time to time. Or maybe you ask too many questions.

Regular Season

Our regular season show is what you see when you come to any episode of our regular season. These shows are brand new every week, with about 8 to 10 new sketches, a live band, and a host and/or comedian.

For a lot of people these shows are the most fun because what you're seeing is an entire show put together from scratch in only 2 hours just before you arrive. So it's exciting and when things go wrong it can be just as fun to watch the cast deal with the mistakes as when things go off without a hitch.

Fat Free Fries (Fries to Go)

We've come up with a whole new show concept for our traveling show. We call it Fat Free Fries (because we're dumb that way) and holy crap is it cool. Here's how it works:

Imagine you're sitting in the audience and the lights come up. A host from the cast greets you by introducing Fries on the Side and 8 cast members stand behind him or her. At this point you're shown the teleprompters we use for lines and you get to see the operator. Then you're told that we're going to perform 5 or 6 sketches from the 10 that we have in our prompters. The interesting thing? None of the actors have any idea what part they'll play or what sketches will be chosen.

Once that's all explained, the show starts by the host announcing the title of the first sketch and what it's about. Then he quickly casts it and lights go out to open on the scene. Then just sit back and watch the fun begin. Actors have to make choices on the fly and anything can happen.

So why take such a big chance? Well, it's not a risk really because our main cast are so skilled at this very thing, that we're certain you'll be amazed and entertained. Sure, things will go wrong, but that's just as fun as when they go perfectly.

What makes this show different is that it's very easy to setup and take to other theatres. We don't use any props or sets or costumes. If you want to see the same thing with all that stuff added to really amaze you, then come to any of our Regular Season shows.

Best Of Season Finale

Let's face it, no shows are bigger for us than our season finales. We bring back our very best material from the entire season and pack them into a slightly longer show with a live band, host comedian and a well rehearsed show. These shows are legendary and we typically take the material performed in Best Of shows to comedy festivals around the country.

All of the material is well rehearsed, costumed, and things rarely go wrong. It's not life on the edge, but it's some of the most amazingly funny stuff you'll ever see in your life.
